Bio

Rachel Burg Belin (she/her) is the Managing Partner and co-founder of the Kentucky Student Voice Team, with decades of experience supporting young people as partners in research, policy, and storytelling.

Over her career, she has served as a social studies teacher, media literacy coordinator, education policy aide, development consultant, and radio news director. Across four states, she has spearheaded nine ventures designed to amplify and elevate the voices of young people in civic life. In collaboration with students, her work has been recognized with a Citizen’s and Scholars Civic Spring Award, the Kentucky Nonprofit Network Excellence in Public Policy Award, the Pathway 2 Tomorrow Breakthrough in Education Innovation Award, and a George Foster Peabody Award.

Rachel holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.A.T. from the University of Rochester.
