KSVT to host virtual candidate town hall forums for this year’s school board elections
KSVT will hold online town halls in both Jefferson and Fayette County for community members to hear from and ask questions of school board candidates.
Join the Kentucky Student Voice Team for our second annualYouth-Led Town Halls with School Board Candidates in both Fayette and Jefferson county ahead of this upcoming election cycle.
We’ll be talking with candidates from Kentucky’s most populous school districts about what they want for our public schools and whether and how young people fit into their vision. We will also be taking questions from the audience.
Students, families, teachers and other education stakeholders are welcome to register below and get ready to do democracy with us! RSVP is strongly encouraged to submit questions in advance for candidates.
REGISTER for Jefferson County: Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 6 p.m. ET
REGISTER for Fayette County: Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 6 p.m. ET
