Riess Starks

Riess Starks is currently a sophomore at duPont Manual High School and contributes to KSVT through writing for The New Edu. She joined KSVT to apply skills learned in her classes at her school’s Journalism and Communications program to work that will implement real world change across Kentucky. She is passionate about writing and youth activism. Riess also currently works as the Marketing Assistant for the student-run publication On The Record magazine and participates in Mock Trial. In her free time, she loves nothing more than spending time with friends, listening to music, or hanging out with her dog, Lucy.
