Bio

Carlie is a junior at Tate’s Creek High School in Lexington, Kentucky. Enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program, she takes initiative to stay locally and internationally connected. Her favorite hobbies include baking and reading classic Jane Austen novels. In her free time, she loves to read up on current issues that deal with student rights in Kentucky and across the nation. Working as a student journalist for The New Edu offers a great way to tie her passions of journalism and student rights together.
